About me
I grew up and still live in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, a large southern Australian city. Having always loved reading, from an early age I used to jot down story ideas and scenes, though I rarely managed to finish these first forays into writing, Now, as well as my Trixie dabblings, I have completed eight other romantic mystery suspense novels, none of which are remotely brilliant, but all of which were great fun to write. My favourite authors include Barbara Michaels, Mary Stewart, Jane Austen, Louise Penny and Ngaio Marsh. Oh, and Susansuth, BonnieH, Dana, Ronda and so many more of the amazing Jix authors. My Trixie Journey
My brother gave me my very first Trixie book for Christmas in1971 thus starting what has turned about to be a life-long obsession, I mean love.
Over the years I was given, bought or found most of the books in the series. It didn't take me long to become particularly attached to Honey—she was always my favourite character. And I had a crush on Brian almost from the first time he appeared on the page. I remember being over the moon when I discovered three new books one night on my way home from my very first job. I still occasionally dream of 'new' Trixies on bookshelves and with Jix that dream has become a reality. |
